The last three or four years, I’ve been making Christmas cards by mixing gelli prints, sari ribbons, text papers and acrylic paints - plus a sewing machine.
I love gelliprinting at the best of times, and something I love doing, is printing a load of different papers in a certain colour scheme to suit a project. And towards Christmas, it’s such fun to use metallic paints along with other colours.

I love this technique, mixing papers and ribbons wwith a main image to guide the colour scheme, then using stitch to both embellish and secure the collage elements in place. I do hope you have a go!
